My First Washi Tape Project

I love pink. I love hearts. Put them together and I’d go crazy over it. I’ve been meaning to try washi tape decorating, and when I saw this oh so adorable pink polka hearts washi tape, I knew I had to get it.

I bought this washi tape at EGG (Exciting Gifts + Goodies) at their Fairview Terraces branch. It was pretty expensive at Php 120, almost twice the price of washi tapes you can buy online. However, I just wanted to try my hand in decorating using washi tape, and I didn’t want to go through the whole process of ordering, paying for the shipping fee, etc., so I preferred to buy it in the store instead.

At that same day, I bought a new lightning cable for my iPad mini. My old lightning cable has surrendered (crappy quality cable you made there, Apple!) and I needed to buy a new one. I had my eyes on the Belkin lightning cable, and luckily, Beyond the Box (Eton Centris branch) has a pink one in stock.

The cable is a little longer and quite robust than the Apple-branded one. I hope it lives longer than my previous cable.

So for my first washi tape project, I decorated my white wall adapter to go with my pink lightning cable. It was very easy and it took me just a few minutes to do it. I’m quite happy with how it turned out, so kikay!

I’m planning to buy more tapes from online sellers in the future. I want to decorate more! My iPad case, perhaps? Feel free to share your washi projects with me or your trusted online sellers! J
